This is a recipe from There’s a Chef in My World that Anika got from Melvin for her birthday. The taste factor is definitely a 10 but nutritionally these meatballs would be just a tad above Ikea’s because of the very high fat content. Overall this recipe was way too long and complicated for my tastes but Anika was thrilled at the opportunity to cook out of her new book and she constantly reassured me by saying, “It’s a special occasion type cookbook, not an everyday cookbook.”
Yes, their favorite part was getting their hands in the meat.
