At this point Anika is a proficient bike rider she just wanted to have her picture taken riding standing up and going through obstacles.

Dante totally learned how to ride a bike today! Melvin started teaching home one day a few weeks ago and we just haven’t been able to get out since—until today. He started out not very confident wanting me to hold on to the back of the seat but actually balancing rather stable. From there all I did was keep lightly touching his back to him completely ok his own. Next was slowing down, breaking abd coming to a complete stop. After came speed and going through some posts as obstacles. And finally he’s almost got the starting completely on his own down. Now he’s asking me if he can go up the hill. Ay ay ay. That’s Dante… Very hessitant and fearful getting started but then there’s no stopping him.

I miscalculated..
Round trip driving costs would be: Gas- $75-$100 Tolls -$16-$50 Parking - $90-$120 (valet only/ overnight extra)
I’m thinking we could have done the driving trip for as little as the cost of the bus if we could park offsite somewhere. But I’m thinking if parking is anywhere around Manhattan prices it would just not be worth it.
Conclusion: cost of driving is $120-$220.
Chinatown bus & Boston subway experience=priceless :-b
We’re good with the bus decision…once we have a better idea of the parking situation we could drive for the next trip.

Driving to Boston (gas, tolls, parking) = $350 est.
Fung Wa Bus tickets for 4 NYC Boston roundtrip = $120+$20 public trans.
It’s a serious deal if you ask me.
